so need opinions. ...my bf n i live in a 2 bed apt. well our friends have a house n asked us if we wanted to rent the upstairs (2 bed+1 bath) so share kitchen and living room. they said we could pay just half of what we pay now. so with living with them the pros n cons r...pros: cheaper (chance to save more money) water, electric, internet, cable would all be included in the rent, be closer to family, have our kids grow up together....cons: not as much privacy, they have 5 cats (im allergic), not just our own home, they smoke cigs (on main floor)....pros n cons of our place now...pros:place to ourselves, privacy, do what we want...cons:neighbors are pot smokers n it comes thru the hardwood flooring n smells up our livingroom n bath, neighbors r very loud tell 4 am, further from family, bf hours got cut back bc its the slowest months (jan/feb) so less money.....i dont know what seems to be the better option or what we shoukd do, what woukd u ladies pick?

5 cats && no privacy is major tho.... so I think I'd rather struggle thru Jan && Feb because those are the slow months ....

yea im bout to say its horrible with allergies... you feel like your throat gonna close -& you wanna rip your nose off for itching so bad && you can't see cuz your eyes so watery all the time.. you will be miserable...then you said 5 not 1 cat...

efff that living with people sucks...cigs are a no especially around new baby...5 cats...hell no not with allergies...(im allergic too). just take it easy over the next couple months...yes its nice cause you dmsave money and its cheaper...but in the long run you will probably be miserable after living there for a bit.

yeah i feel we can make it staying here we just wont have a ton of extra @dawn yeah my allergies kicked in bad after being there for an hour n that was 5 hrs ago n im still fighting them. cig smoke also triggers my allergies so even with that as a no for my baby it would make me miserable. the more ithink about itthe en better i feel about struggling for a couple months then be miserable @juliagail09

yeah. i mean ultimatley its up to you. but if i was you i wouldnt do it. maybe you guys can try to cut back on things yall dont really need for the next couple months if thats possible. i wouldnt want to be miserable...

trust me having to share kitchen n living room is no joke! I was living with a couple we split the bills they paid 100 more bcuz they got the master bedroom and carport but they took over everything me n my bf would hardly go to the living room or kitchen they were always loud wen we were asleep they are disgustingly dirty, she had her dishes in the sink for a month I was pist wen I said something her husband said she was the woman of the house I was beyond pist. we r on our own now, yea living paycheck to paycheck but its only us n our baby on the way n dont have to worry about no one

seei worried about that too like they have a semi dirty kitchen now n i dont wanna be cleaning up after everyone. plus i worry about groceries like with them eating ours or when they have other people over letting them eat our things. i think id rather live paycheck to paycheck than regret it n be miserable @nessa48

yea its just too much specially with a child. they use to eat our food wen they ran out n my bf said something n they didnt we had half the fridge but there was no point since we would never cook bcuz of them. we were all friends n we thought it was gonna be a good experience, but you never really know someone till you live with them! I almost got into a fist fight with the girl bcuz I bit my tounge for too long and I got fed up one day and just exploded, now we are not friends anymore, smh so sad

I rather live paycheck to paycheck and have my own spot and privacy. just get some Fabreez sprays that spray every so often for the weed smell. or humidifier.

5 cats uhhh NOOO lol that woulda been the deal breaker right there. that's way to many in the house... there psycho and specially being allergic to them you'd be miserable.
