Ladies I feel like my mother in law is trying to take my place. I'm pissed. She always comes up in me and my mans room and says "gimme the baby" and then laughs in my sons face all ugly and loud waking him up. Like shut up! She tries to say to my boyfriend that im not doing a good job. Fuck you. Thats OUR son and we dont need your help. We barely just woke up right now and she just heard him cry for like 2 seconds then demanded to take him to her room so she can feed him. Ugh I'm so mad I wanna cry. I get that shes the grandma but let me and my boyfriend take care of our child. He doesn't necessarily need you like he does me and his father.

i know how it is....one day i feeding my daughter and i stopped for like two seconds and my boyfriends mom was all she needs to burp her blah blah blah its like stfu and leave me alone i know what im doing i dont need your help. smh. its annoying as fuck.

tell her! she needs to back off my godmothers mother did this so much now when the kids r in trouble or throwing a tantrum they begg for grammy and try to call her! and try to go live with her it needs to be stopped before that gets too bad

Honestly I don't know how your relationship is with ur mom but my moms is like my kids second mother and they love her she helped with all 3 of them and I had no problem with it but my mom isn't controlling nor she tells me what to do with my kids. but I had my first at 16 and she did help me and I'm so grateful for her honestly.

my step mom is already like that. talking about when baby gets here you need to do this, we will do this with baby, blah blah. um no you will do what I allow you to. it's not that I'm not grateful she's wanting to do everything and already planning but damn. it's my first so I'll have to have help and guidance from time to time but they need to realize she's mine and the hubbys. back off.

my mother in law was like at first with our daughter and I knew she was helping but there were times when she did over step her boundaries and my husband had to tell her listen this is our kid we need to learn how to care for her. she backed off a bit and now our daughter is 2.5 and my mother in law has been there for anything and everything for our daughter. she was a huge help when my husband was deployed for a year and she made sure my daughter and I had everything we needed. It May seem hard to see right now that she wants to help but try talking to her about it and let her know how it makes you feel but assure her you know she is trying to help. I hope this helps a little
