well that's good. thank you for the info. I've got a little ways I'm just trying to pre pare I hear all these women's milk that doesn't come in right away. and just wanna be prepared. @minililly

@alicia3_18 I bought donated breast milk from the hospital. It's breastmilk that other moms donate...gets cleaned and tested of course. It was kinda pricey though @ $40 for 4 oz. The hospital provided me with a syringe and straw like tube. I would put baby on nipple and stick the tube in that way she wouldn't get nipple confusion with a bottle. Like I said I was committed to breast feeding and strictly breast milk. You can do the same with formula though👍 hospital should give you a sample (the whole can of formula) that should be way more than enough by the time your milk comes in.

@alicia3_18, no just massage them to stimulate and see if you can get some milk tea its tea that helps you produce more milk but I wouldn't suggest a pump cause the suction can hurt

and u use the pump to bring out the milk even if nothings coming out ? @krissy81814

Hang in there...I had sever cracked bleeding nipples but was committed to breastfeeding so kept on trying. My milk came in 4 days postpartum. I kept pumping since day 1 even though I didn't have milk. Pumping helps, don't give up its the best thing you can give your newborn. And use Lansinoh nipple cream. Nipple shields also help!!

I have this ointment the hospital gave me after I had my so it numbed my nipples and I had to massage them and pump to to start producing more milk
