Last night was completely exhausting but feeling a little better today even though I am literally running on 4 hours of sleep in 3 days total, thank goodness for coffee which I can totally have now. I was supposed to be discharged this morning which was AWESOME but turns out my babys Bilirubin levels were a bit high so they wanted to re-test tonight. He got re-tested and they were higher so he is currently under ultra-violets lights for the night and he is not happy at all. As his mommy, you can all imagine how devastated and heart-broken I'm feeling right now ladies. Have any mommies been through this? Did your baby get better?

yes my youngest sons levels were way high. he came home only to go back the next day and was admitted for four days. the lights work great though and he had no problems after.

@junebaby awe poor baby!!! my baby is not happy and hes only been under through the night, i cant imagine how hard 4 days must be :(

yeah when my son was in they had him on this little trampoline type bed with a gown that had velcro and it attached to the bed. lol. we called him our glow worm.

@junebaby awee, thats different! my baby they have him in his bed with nothing but his diaper on and those things that cover his eyes. but yes those heel sticks are getting to me everytime! he has a test here in about 2 hours to see if the levels went down or not :(
