You have to be in control after all its your body. Dont think like Im pregnant I should eat whatever comes to my needs if you think like that you will let yourself loose. Im 25weeks I still go to the gym toneing and tightening,I dont eat fatty foods or whatever cmes to my mind,
@senadas4_14_2015, it isn't always that simple. I've watched what I eat, how much I eat! and was as active as I could be (until I got put on bed rest for two weeks) in spite of hyperemesis gravidarum. Even doing all that and having HG, I've still gained around 60 lbs at not quite 38 weeks. You can be as careful as you want, but you're going to gain what your body wants you to gain. And that is also noting that all my cravings have even been things like oranges, spinach, celery and bare - basic turkey sandwich with lettuce and all I've drank is water and some milk and orange juice. When you make it sound so simple as an end-of-story "if you're in control, you won't gain lots of weight" kind of deal, I will say, it kinda makes people like me feel like crap. :/ It's really great to do all that, but there's more to it.
@senadas4_14_2015, thanks for totally discounting everything I just said "because [you're] from Europe" and apparently it's a "lie" that your weight can't always be 100% under your control in a pregnancy so you're just telling the truth..... I'll keep that in mind the next time I look in the mirror or at the scale after controlling yet another urge/craving for a healthy snack and trying to move around the house instead.
