I'm thinking I need to start hitting the gym atleast a few times a week. Haven't worked out since my first month. Now I'm 21 weeks! Has anyone else started a workout regimen late into pregnancy? I don't want kill myself in the gym as I get winded just going up the stairs, but I also don't want to gain close to 50 lbs like my last pregnancy... Thoughts or suggestions?

Also, I just can't find the energy after my full time job in which I commute over an hour each way, full time Kom to a five year old and a full time wife! So from 4am to about 9pm I'm busy as a bee, but too exhausted to make time for myself and exercise. When I do have spare time I just want to catch up on rest.

I just walk honestly .. and do squats when I feel like it .. walking is the easiest

Good idea. I just might have to make it part of my day to do squats mainly since that's where all my weight goes. I might have to go walking during lunch too. Ugh.

they say yoga is good while pregnant. I do a few easy movements that I know won't make me over exert myself

I was looking into yoga as well. Low impact is good.

Think my hardest part is finding the energy and time to do it.

I dont recommend anything new. I mean if your body is not use to it dont start anything new. They say yoga, pilates and walking are great for pregnant women. I did running and indoorcycling before my pregnancy so I did that until week 25. But after getting braxton contraction I've just been walking alot and done some home workouts like squats, steps and some other light workouts
