I am 16 weeks and bellow my belly button I felt this twitching feeling could it be the baby???(;

if so why does it feel like spasms or twitching

Yes it's baby I felt the same thing. The baby isn't that big and strong yet so it's little movements until down the weeks they get stronger and it's the best :)

that's amazing cause I have never had a twitch in my lower stomach since I felt the baby should I start feeling him or her more often

It's not too early at all. Everyone experiences movements at different times. Enjoy their going to get better!
