DEBATE TIME MAMAS.
a local woman went to the gas station with her 6 month old daughter. she decided that since she would only be in the for maybe a minute and left her baby in the running car since she was "sick, asleep, and didn't want to take her out into the cold". the woman came out to discover her car AND INFANT gone. yes that's right, somebody came up and stole the car. the car jacker soon realized there was a baby in the back seat, stopped and dropped the baby off, and continued on and took the car. the woman, so thankful, that her baby was ok is of course, a little shaken up. by little, I mean very. I'm not sure what's all going to happen now, but what do you ladies think? what would you do? what should happen to the woman? personally I'm so grateful her little baby is ok, but she should have NEVER I don't care how long, left her baby in the car. she needs to get some kind of charge for child neglect. that's just truly awful. she got lucky whoever took her car could've taken and harmed that poor child.

I understand why she would not wanna take the baby out but she really should have paid for her gas out side of that was the case.

She should be able to keep him because I do understand what she was coming from but She should get a charge for leaving the baby because that was careless thinking

I don't think she should be charged at all. How often does that happen? I will not be waking up my baby to run into the gas station to pay for gas I think that's being a little too paranoid. I'm thankful I live where I do and I don't have to worry about ppl stealing cars. Touch wood.

I know exactly what you're talking about considering I'm also local to where it happened. I very much so do believe she should get charged. Under no circumstances should you leave any child under 12 outside in the car by themselves. She's even been putting on facebook that she seen the man walking up to her car when she went in and it was also 2-3 in the morning. Either don't bring your children, pay outside or bring someone to either go in or sit out in the car with the kids. There is no way I would leave my child outside by themselves, I don't care if it took 20 minutes to get them out of the car, especially in Indianapolis. It happens a lot here, especially during the winter. @regelbaby
