24 weeks today. Been in the hospital since yesterday morning because of this damn hyperemisis. They started steroids last night... I still feel like complete crap. Haven't eaten a thing in days. 😩😭😥😢😰 I will be so sad if I have to spend New Years in the hospital.

Is it rude to not want anyone at the hospital? I was just informed that my MIL wants to be waiting at the hospital so as soon as I pop out the baby she can rush in to be with the baby. I am really a private person and dont really want anyone at the hospital when I give birth (except my husband). I was planning on calling all the family to come to the hospital once I was all cleaned up and ready for visitors. Am I being rude? How do I tell them I dont want visitors a minute after pushing out a baby?! I would like some private time for just my husband & I!
