Yay...found out they are wanting to induce me on my due date. I guess I'm not going to get anything that I wanted out of this experience except for finally getting to meet my son. Happy outcome, but this is the furthest thing from what I wanted at all!!

their threat was the longer I wait the higher the risk my baby could die. I'm sorry, but I dont think wanting to wait a week on an otherwise normal and healthy pregnancy is really THAT threatening.

If an induction is medically necessary then you can refuse it. They can't force any kinda medical treatment onto you that you don't want.

from what he told me today when he checked me my cervix is still high towards the back. it's thinned out a little. I just dont want to be put through an induction and end up with a c section because the doctors got impatient and my body wasn't ready.
