i have illinois state insurance. and my fiance wants us to move to Kansas. like what am I going to…

Kansas offers state insurance as well. I am sure they have a website that you can go on and figure out the income requirements and find a number to call before you move.

@shelbyann, if I switch do I have to pay for the costs of Illinois so far

@butterflymommy, I wouldn't think so since you were a resident of Illinois during the time. I am sure if you have any questions that you are unsure about you could call their help desk and ask them just in case you are feeling unsure. And before you move to Kansas make sure you call to see what you need to do to set up your new insurance so you can make sure you have a doctor and do not have to go without any prenatal care. :)

@butterflymommy, I'm from Illinois n no u won't since u were a resident .... it just may take a while to be approved by Kansas when u switch over and become a Kansas resident but if ur early in ur pregnancy then u should be good I just wouldn't recommend it if u wre near ur due date

@butterflymommy, yes the sooner the better cuz it may take a while to get approved but to be sure u should look up the process to see how long it takes
