the part that gets me is the closer ive been getting to my due date, the longer I wait, and the bigger hurry the doctor seems to be in. Birth plan? ha! hasn't been discussed at all. I was lucky to be able to ask about a breast pump last visit. "oh, they'll take care of that at the hospital after bs by is born. so we will see you again next week!"
@mammacam, @uhohitskyra @lilman1115 Glad to know I'm not the only one to face this ridiculousness. I thought the waits were bad at my previous, regular ob. Then I moved to the, basically, "high risk center" and just... like holy shit. 20 minute visit takes 2- 3.5 hrs or more. One visit took 5. I think docs over all need to work on their scheduling!
for my appointments I used to show up early...now I dont bother. last time I was there over an hour before I saw the doctor for a whole 5 minutes. I kept falling asleep in the chair while I was waiting.
Thankfully I get more than five minutes here, but I have definitely been waiting in a room for over 30 minutes for a cervix check after leaving another room that I had waited in for 20 after my fluid check (which thankfully happened immediately after I got pulled from the waiting room) to discuss the fluid results, repeat gtt results and bio profile of the baby.i I've been at this office since 145.
