Serious pet peeve of mine: When people who don't have kids try to give you advice and tell you how it's going to be after the baby is born. "You won't be getting much sleep after he's born." Uhm excuse me? I have known tons of kids who pretty much sleep all the time for the first few weeks, even through diaper changes and everything, and still continue to sleep great through the night after that. Every child is different. Some cry all the time, some hardly cry at all.

I agree! My daughter slept all through the night. I used to have to call the nurse to see if I should wake her up for feedings... I hope I'm as fortunate with my son lol

I hope Matthew sleeps at night, but right now he doesn't. I feel him move around so much while I'm trying to sleep. Lol.

@lp1988727, awe, I'm sorry she has acid reflux but I'm glad she sleeps well and they have it under control.

Completely agree, I heard that a million times myself and besides the first few days because my baby had colic, after that he was such a good baby and let his mommy sleep! I love this post and totally agree 100% :)
