Day 17 - pampers or cloth diapers
Seriously I'm a closet hippie.... I really wanted to use cloth diapers but they are pricy when we are only having one child. Considered second hand ones and the filler with diaper cover option - seriously those things are disgusting you have to touch the filler full of piss and poo. Granted I understand I will touch plenty of piss and poo but I'm not volunteering for additional piss and poo touching. Even considered the diaper-less potty training but we will be in disposable diapers.... I will attempt the early Asian method but with the diapers on, so LO will potty train by 1-hopefully. And I will try to recycle, reduce and reuse more consciously to reduce my greenie guilt. Forever and amen rant over!
Ugh 3 years of diapers.... Well I guess you do what ya gotta do. Oh well
yea girls are harder I think I tried to introduce the potty to her at 2 didnt work so I gave up but a few weeks b4 her 3rd bday she woke up and said mom i wanna wear my panties she put em on and went potty frm there on
And I don't know why it cut me off but think that takes a lot of diap line from the parent. Is that what you did?
@babygirl10-11, I think it will be harder for the girl to feel it as early as the boy. I like the idea of the noise or shhhh when you see them trying to potty and then making the noise at the toilet.
I did the diaper less potty training with my son when he was 1 it took me a good 3 months of constantly monitoring and asking if he had to potty but by the time he was 18 months he was fully potty trained with out any accidents I plan on doing the same this time around when I have my son and he turns one
