Im THINKING about having my son in the room when i give birth to his sister...after i get my pain…

I think it's up to you! I think it's kind of cool to have him experience it (from the side lol) I couldn't do it my kids would be bouncing off the wall irritating me

Yeah I asked about my 5 year old being in the room & the hospital said absolutely not. They said a child should not witness something like labor/ delivery because it can be scary for them because even after pain meds the actual pushing & blood could actually freak them out. Plus a lot of hospitals have regulations on children in the delivery room.

@mrs.aceves, the hospital im having my daughter at said it would be fine but im just thinking about it i may just have him close by so he could come rite in after she born

@smithgirl, I wish I went to your hospital! lol I don't feel its too scary especially if you know your child well enough to know they wouldnt freak out. I know mine wouldnt, so I was very sad when they said no she couldnt be in there :/ I know I was there when my sister was born. I think I was 3 or 4 ish cant remember it though lol

damn...I should have thought about doing that when I had my daughter...I'm sure my hospital wouldn't allow that tho...
