they say caffeine is bad. it can give your baby anxiety. you can drinknup to 200mlgs a day I think it is? I crave dr pepper so bad I give in.

@18andpregnant, yea my mom said something about drinking a certain amount... the only ones i like is coca cola or sierra mist but what i like is how the gas feels in when i swallow it haha lol im wierd..

you're not wierd. ,I like the same feeling! that's the only reason why I drink soda when I do drink it lol

sierra mist and 7up and root beer don't have caffeine. if that helps.

too much caffeine and sugar, you don't wanna get gestational diabetes while pregnant, it is the worst. I only drink water and soda is not good for u anyway. ginger ale is good tho, that the only kind of soda I ever drink.

I can say too much soda causes gestationsl diabetes... that's really the only thing I changed in my diet and my blood sugars have came wayyyy down. I had to take my glucose test at 17 weeks cause they kept finding a lot of sugar in my urine. Since I started drinking nothing but water, they haven't found any sugar lately and I'll take another glucose test. @judiith
