My son used to do the same thing to me and he hurt like hell. I was about 23 weeks when he first did it I'm 33 weeks now he is head down so he just punches me down there it won't hurt it just feels funny

@katelyndphillips it's a surprise.  How far along are you? Most of the time it's normal because your body goes through so many changes as you prepare for deliver.
