Yeah I waited to 12 wks and then I never bought anything until after 24wks, which means my pregnancy and baby is viable

I was to sick to be excited. But I only told 4 ppl before I was 12 weeks. my bd parents didn't even know

I didnt tell my best friend ir anyone besides imediate until I was 18 weeks because I was scared too my brother and his gf had 2 miscarriages basically back to back.. So I wanted to be very comfortable and well into my "safe zone" before letting the rest of everyone know.. I also toom longer to connect with this pregnancy Im dont kno why but im def head over heels in love with my lil man now!!

@mrssabby, Im 30 weeks and still havent got nothing but a few outfits bought and a carseat picked out but not ordered.. At first I keep thinking ut was too soon to start and now Im trying to figure out why the time went..

Nothing became real to me until I heard the heart beat (11 weeks) so I didn't see the need to tell anyone until it was real to me. My husband was so excited to tell people. I had to tell my dad as soon as we found out (8 weeks) because I worked for him at a quarry (mining site) and the jobs I was doing were no longer legal for me to do while pregnant. So I told him and my husband told his mom.

I didn't get excited until I was about 16 weeks cause I was so paranoid something would happen if I got to excited and no one knew I was pregnant before 3 months besides my SIL and my MIL.

@18andpregnant, yeah I mean done doctors tell you when to share the news and most people dong know about viability stages but, I don't wanna steal no ones joy so I just keep it moving

pregnancy is madr out to be this completely relaxed and beautiful process where you simply grow a baby.. If only people knew just how much more to it there is than than.. Not saying it isnt beautiful but theres so much worrying and everything else it's not always a piece of cake!

I understand why girls get happy when they find out but I think once you have ur first obgyn appointment it sinks in that there is a lot more than just announcing ur pregnancy to family and friends that the one thing that's on ur mind is is the baby okay. I think the first trimester was the most stressful cause u don't feel the baby so u don't know of its OK and what's going on until ur once a month Dr visit

yes.. my friend had a get together last week && announced to everyone she is 6 weeks pregnant.. I'm happy for her but in my head I'm like she should have waited but its really up to the person. I would just hate for something bad to happen && you have to tell everyone. I'm sure its not an east thing to go thru. I was excited and told close friends && my mother. then when I hit 1 weeks I called my family && his family mostly knew. && announced on social media!

I didn't tell anyone outside of close family (husband and his parents) until I was like 20 weeks. Even then I was always scared. I always feel the same way when I see people all excited in the early weeks like 7weeks etc. it's better to announce in the second trimester. But it's also good to have faith that u will have a safe pregnancy. I'm at 31 weeks and I'll tell that I'm not going to fully relax till she in my arms.

Agreed! I was excited, but we kept it within immediate family until 3 months. And after that I still worried. Being pregnancy changed your entire perspective on everything!
