Morning sickness vs. preterm labor
I've felt as sick as a dog all day. Chills, been cold, headache, extremely nautious, can't eat, threw up, and been hurting bad in my abdomen. No fever though. My fiancé seems to think it's just morning sickness, but I've never heard of hurting in the abdomen go with morning sickness. I'm afraid it might be preterm labor from all the pain I'm having. Are those signs of preterm labor? Maybe I'm just being paranoid and it is morning sickness? Or a stomach bug? Idk my dr's after hours line or I'd call

you need to see a doc. pain shouldn't be a part of normal morning sickness

That's what I was thinking. I've been drinking water to see if I'm dehydrated, and took a hot shower. If it doesn't help soon then I'm gonna go in

Sounds a lot like the flu or a virus. I'd definitely at least call about your symptoms.

I just saw that you don't know your doc's on call line. You can call the labor and delivery unit at your hospital for the same kind of advice you'd get from the on call line, because typically is the same people or close to it.

Last time I called L&D, they gave me incorrect information. At least, that's what my dr said. Some other ppl have said flu, but I don't have a fever. I've never known the flu to be without a fever @wrens_mommy

I've had it with fever before (I don't fever easily) but stomach viruses are all over the place too right now. You may be able to call your doc office and listen to the answering service message to get his/her on call number is. Most offices will do that, if you're concerned L&d may give you wrong info. @laura_love I hope you get sorted out and feel better either way. :)

I didn't even think about them having a messaging service. Thanks (: I hope so too. Especially since my daughter's sick too ):
