Just so you know, it's not wrong when it says 2-3 weeks and your doc tells you you're 5-6 weeks. Doctors measure pregnancy starting from your first day of your last period and estimate conception to be about 2 weeks from that point and estimate your due date to be 40 weeks from that day as well. The pregnancy test doesn't factor in the two weeks you aren't pregnant (like the docs do) it simply measures hcg levels and compares them to programmed estimates for 1-3 weeks post conception.
