I'm 18, have no schooling. I just got fired from my job and no one will hire me bc I'm pregnant. my bf is in construction and only has a couple more weeks of school. his car is breaking and mine is starting to take a shit. we live with his parents in a tiny room. we have no money and can't find a place to live. he's been so stressed out he's been a complet jerk and it streese me out. ughhhhh.....I'm just so upset. I'm usually not the kinda girl to get so upset over things. but I don't wanna bring my baby boy into a world where he can't have everything he needs wants and desirves. its just shity.

you'll be fine! I quit my job a couple days before finding out I was pregnant. I haven't had a job in 8 months nobody would hire me either. I feel the same about not having everything your baby need want and deserve but sometimes you have to work with what you have. A lot of the stuff I have was passed down to me because I don't have much. I wanted all new stuff but I don't work and my boyfriend works but not a lot of money to go around so I appreciate the things I do have. it's very stressful but I keep telling myself God wouldnt give me something I couldn't handle so I go with the flow and take it a day at a time.

@18andpregnant i had a similar situation starting out with my husband. we were living with his parents (i was homeless before moving in with him) he was still in school and i had no job, then we got engaged and i got pregnant, lost my car, then no one would hire me and he worked full time while going to school. we lived really bad there for a while and it was really hard but we pulled through.

@18andpregnant, I can relate to you with the being 18 and having no job part. I was also majorly depressed before and the first few months of my pregnancy, I'm still struggling with it so I might not be the best person to give advice but try to think on the positive side, think of the good things going for you because even if it feels like everything's shit there's got to be good, positive things hidden somewhere in all the bad. I found it and I'm sure you can too 😊

I'm in a similar boat. I have bought what I do have second hand dirt cheap. I have received some bigger stuff as hand me downs, which im extremely greatful for. I want new, but cant afford. I only work MAYBE 6 hours a week because my job is that slow right now. they speed up like crazy after Christmas, but I will be on maternity leave and dont have many options for a sitter to watch the baby if I did want to go back. I would only be working to pay the baby sitter which doesnt make sense. my fiance has been up my butt about finding a new job, but let's face it...no one will hire a woman that's 6 months pregnant, let alone one that's 9 months like I am now. I was told I was going to have a baby shower and my coworker flaked out on me, so ive had to scramble to get everything as cheap as possible last minute. it sucks, but it's what I have to do. It's all I have to work with at the moment, so I just tale it day by day because that's all I can do.

Similar here, my boyfriends job stopped calling him to work.. he got in a car accident & now we have no car. I'm in my last year of school so I'm focusing on graduating right now instead of work. often we'd argue. often I cried because I feel like a bad mother that can't provide but you just need to be positive 👌 give it time & things will get better. your son will love you no matter what as long as you're trying you should be fine. don't give up, you seem so happy about having a baby & seem like you'll be a great mommy. no one said if would be easy, no worries doll.

Being a great mommy is not being able to get everything and anything for your child. Being a great mommy is being able to love your child and care for him/her. Not being able to get stuff on your own doesn't make you bad. Every needs help at some point. As long as you're setting yourself up now to have a great life later for your child and yourself that's a great start for being a good new mother. But that's just my opinion. aww hun I'm so sorry your in this tough situation. if you lived closer I would help you out so much! with my first child I got hired when I was 5 months pregnant at a deli in a store. my old boss there was a woman and she understood everything and I am so grateful for her. there are people out there that will hire you. don't give up on looking for jobs. I found out that being up front with them about you being pregnant and that you need the money they seem to be more understanding. keep your head up girl and I am always here for you
