i just watched these videos about how children's movies and advertising companies put subliminal messages about sex in them, and its really made me wonder... how horrible I must be for wanting to bring my child into a world this stupid. like what is so wrong with people, that they have to do that, just to make money?

It really has, we all watched them and turned out fine. It's all about moderation. As long as you don't just constantly plop your child in front of the tv then it's fine. There's messaging in pretty much everything. Just teach your child as they grow up to not let it affect them. Give them strong will and they'll be fine. We all were.
