a friend of mine was due in about 3 to 4 weeks when her husband was killed in a coal mining accident. some how she pulled through. I had just had my daughter and she was due a few weeks later. it was horrible emotionally. I'm sure behind closed doors she would break down but she will tell you to put all of your faith in the hands of God. she says that's how she got through! ♡

I lost my grandpa about a month ago and I tried not to be super upset and what helped me was talking/thinking of good memories and at the funeral (weekend of the funeral) we had a big family get together n I got to see family I hadn't seen in years so I looked at that as a positive.

Wow, that would be a horrible experience:( and I know she's going to a better place to be with other family members but I wish she got to meet my baby,she was so excited for him to come but now she gets to watch over him which is pretty amazing too. Definitely try to look at the positives. my grandmother passed away in 2007 and it still hits me pretty hard because we were so close. I'm married with children now and I just feel like she'd be so proud and I'd love for her to meet my babies and husband but I always tell myself that she is who sent my husband to me (strange I know it's just what helps me look at the positive side) I tell myself she's still with me I just can't see her. just stay strong, as strong as you can ♡ we're all here for you to talk with also!

Well I haven't lost a person while pregnant, but I had my once in a lifetime dog pass in july. I had her since she was a couple weeks old, rescued her. literally went everywhere and did everything together. she was my best friend and I found her one night outside and I threw myself into such a panic attack that I had myself throwing up (o haven't had a shred of morning sickness and I'm 33+3.) I'm still not over her. I got her picture painted, a statue made out of wood, a necklace engraved with her picture on it and a stone engraved with her picture and name and dob/dod

To everyone else losing my dog may seem superficial but if you knew the relationship we had you would understand we had a bond that I've never had with a person, she was far too special and the only way I've managed to handle it was by getting things made/done in her honor.
