some people say it's considered double homicide after a certain point in the pregnancy, when the baby can survive outside the womb on its own, I'm not an expert on laws, maybe it varies depending on the state...Because I have also read that its considered double homicide at any stage in the pregnancy.
@aicnov14, good point it is very hard to discern without the full facts.. such a controversial topic tho :( confusing !!! and then i hate to judge because i like to have the full picture not just say this is wrong or this right i believe every situation deserves its own individual standards.. can't walk in every ones shoes.. but yup yup
@joanna290, I think it's totally cool to say you think it's wrong, no matter what the situation is, but not being judgmental when someone disagrees, ya know? Like idk if you're religious, but let God be the judge. stating opinions are cool and my post wasn't a jab at you, I swear, they just make me think...which I guess was the point of this one.
Each state has their own law about when you can abort. Some it's at 24 weeks some max is 12. The double homicide law applies three ways, it can be charge as double homicide at any point if the murderer is killing the baby knowingly and that is the point of the murder. Or double homicide if it's after the states abortion time. And some states it only applies if the baby is viable on it's own outside of the womb. (No judgment either way here just informing of the law, I did law studies I prep to be a lawyer)

@joanna290, you're welcome. It is one of those very complicated topics that's hard to get a straight answer.
