Did they give you the numbing spray? Or the ice diapers? the ice diapers are amazing, I asked for a new one like every hour, as soon as it melted. I only had a Motrin and it did nothing but why don't you ask if they can get you something for pain? my sister got vicodin

I can suggest natural remedies because I don't do medication but I'm not sure exactly what you want so I wanted to make sure if you mean medication or not.

the cramping I don't remember doing much for besides drinking lots of water. every time I breastfed for a few days I felt the belly cramping. but the sitz bath can help your stitches and seaweed. just moisten it and place it in the area in your pad. the salt with tingle but after a few pad changes it should help. place a warm-hot cloth down there with coconut oil can be soothing too

the cramping is a good sign though that your uterus is shrinking back to normal size

I had the ice diapers, numbing spray and witch hazel pads, but I was discharged yesterday and I stayed the night in the nicu. I don't have any ice diapers to use but I'm talking about cramps. The numbing spray and witch hazel pads work wonders for the burning and swelling.
