found out a few hours ago my husband being removed from the military could be called lingering since…

I'm confused? Why is your husband being penalized for them downsizing on base? My husband and I are also military and this just doesn't sound right... @elliot.s

They are saying he's being removed due to lingering about not doing his physical therapy after surgery cause they wouldn't send the doctor the referral he needed. Also he failed weigh ins to. @nique

Why would he serve in military prison for the base down sizing. I have never heard of them kicking some one out the military bc of that,. they normally just transfer you to a different base. Something doesn't sound right about that I would dig more into it. (ex military wife of 4 years) @elliot.s

@elliot.s, have yall talked to a military lawyer or a lawyer out side of there. my ex husband was in the Navy as all. we have been divorced for a while and I still have all my benifits. he frauded them then yes he would be kicked out and penalized for his actions.

My cousin got a Less than Honorable Discharge because he couldn't gain the weight he needed to. Your husband situation seems kind of unreasonable. Military prison for not going to physical therapy? I think that's a little much

@stlgrl22, we find out this week if he just kicked out or if he serves time with it. @laura_love I thought so too. His chef can reject it if necessary but I'm so scared he's getting jail for it. I pray they just discharge him

Yea this definitely sounds horrible. I can understand being removed for failing to pass pt test or weigh in but failing to go to physical therapy is not rules for imprisonment... You should definitely talk to a military lawyer asap. I hope it all works out for the best @elliot.s

Yeah, I'd go with discharged over imprisonment. That's just ridiculous. me lliot.s

@laura_love, I can get insurance I just need him here with me . He's the only family I have left. besides my mother and she will try to raise it her way not let me raise my son
