if you pump you can produce milk it won't be a whole lot at first but the more you pump the more milk you get

I am pumping @january10th . @babynova12.5.14 when I was in labor I spiked a fever of like 109 or something of that sort. They were thinking I had some kind of infection brewing and they believe I passed to him because of his white blood cell count. I was placed on antibiotics and he was taking to the NICU and placed on antibiotics. I was told the test results take 48 hours to come back, but since I had him at 5:43 Saturday night tomorrow will be considered the 48 hours. They did more blood work on him earlier this morning and I'm just praying they see no signs of infection and we will be able to go home tomorrow.

Aww okay well try to stay calm stress can definitely make your milk dry out. is there a lactation consultant you can talk to at the hospital maybe they can help you figure out how to latch him better

Yes giving them bottles definitely makes it harder 😔 I found it easier to latch my second baby by squeezing my nipple & getting as much as possible into his mouth it was hard even tho he didn't get a bottle so just try to stay calm when doing it it helps a lot
