Day 3 Pregnancy Challenge - How I Found Out:

It was Wednesdy June 11, 2014 my 2nd week at my new job. I was at my desk and a wave a nausea came over me. That's the only way I can describe the sensation. LOL, at first I was like "No, I can't be." But then I thought about it and I was about 6 days late and my cycle is pretty regular. I asked my boss if I could go hone fie the day because I wasn't feeling well. She said sure and the first thing I did was go to this Women's Pregnancy Center about that's like 5 minutes from my job to take a free (gotta love FREE! lol) pregnancy test.

I wasn't supposed to look back at the test until 3 minutes after taking it but my anxious behind did and when I saw those two need lines my eyes grew so big they almost popped out of my head. The counselor said, "You weren't supposed to look so early, but as you can see your test is positive. Since we are not a medical office, we cannot say that you are pregnant." I was like okay...but it was pretty obvious that I was. On the way home I looked red and it felt like my skin was on fire. I dunno if was the hormones or my body reacting to my shock. Me and mybfiance miscarried 2 years ago and this time we weren't trying, so indisny know how he was going to take the news. I texted him to let him know that I went home early because I wasn't feeling good. He asked me what was wrong and I said I'd tell him when he got home. Then he replies, "What, you're pregnant?" I said yeah and he called me to ask if I was joking. I told him no and he said he'd see me when he got home.

When he got home, he looked and me and said he knew it. But he was in shock so he went outside to get some fresh air and about 20 minutes later he came back in with all these ideas and plans for parenthood and how this pregnancy will be seen all the way through. I miss my best friend and my biggest supporter, yet I'm also thankful for this piece of him he has left behind💜💜💜
