Okay so I have these pills primrose I believe is what they are called, my next check up I'll be 36 weeks if she says I'm dilated, can I start taking them to thin my cervix or should I wait a bit longer. It takes about two weeks for the pills to thin it enough. But advice please!?

I started using then at 36 weeks I'd start using them now they don't make you go into labor just softens everything so you might as well start using them now they may even help you dilate they also help so you don't rip I'm a first time mom and only ripped because baby girls had came out on her face

Yes! I have the 1000mg and I take one in the morning, one at lunch, and one vaginally at night

I had no idea you could insert it vaginally, so this pill won't hurt the baby? or cause early labor? @meganross

No. Won't hurt the baby at all. And if you do insert vaginally do it before bed and I recommend wearing a pad or liner because it's messy! And no. The only way it would cause you to go into labor would be if your body was like a day or two away from going on its own. I took 1 pill orally and 1 pill vaginally at 36 weeks and then upped it to two pills at 37 weeks. :)
