So tell me how crazy this sounds... My baby is weighing 4.7 lbs and is due on January 25th but I just met a woman who is pregnant and told me she has a scheduled c section on January 18th. What I don't understand is that she told me her baby weighs 8 lbs already. I promise she told me January like 5 times but I have to be mistaken right?!!

maybe she has G diabetes because they usually makes babies bigger. Especially if you do not control it.

You shouldn't believe the weight giving by ultrasound! It can be off by so many!!! I mean they get the gender wrong all the time, and my midwife delivered a baby who was said to be 9 pounds and she came out at 6 something. And another baby was said to be small so they induced her in fear of the baby measuring so small.... And he came up at nearly 10 pounds!!!!

@january10th, That's what I heard crazy I agree. Did you see that women who delivered a baby over 13 lbs they said that's why Gd.

Yea that's crazy to me I'm glad I don't have it I couldn't imagine having a 13 lb baby. my little brother & I were nearly 10 lbs but my mom didn't have Gd. she just knew how to grow babies lol

She did say her she has to have a c section though bc her placenta is in the back... Maybe that's something to do with it!
