I had the copper iud for 3 years it was wonderful I loved it it regulated my period & it didn't make me gain a ton of weight like the depo shot did

& I didn't forget it like I did the pill.

I was scared of that too but you can check the strings & make sure it's in place still. @acjones186

Just ask your Dr what is the best route to go, I'm on a pill, my Dr have me it since that is one of the only pills that won't dry up your milk, don't member what is called though.

I'm horrible with the pill lol. That's whay I started out on when ever I first got on birth control back when I was 16 and I kept forgetting it so I switched to depo and I actually liked it I didn't have the weight gain or nothing with it like alot of girls say they had. but now I have to find something that won't mess with my milk @camillesmom

Got ya well I have a hard time remembering pulls to I just carry it in my diaper bag and have my alarm set every day to remind me, also when I was talking to my Dr she also told me that breast feeding is a natural birth control cause you won't really ovulate while feeding I told her though I want to get on something to be safe, I couldn't have another baby right now, me and my husband originally wanted like two kids but after my birth we both are terrified for me to have another one but happy with our daughter, so I wanted to make site there were no chances and the other thing my Dr said for my husband and I to do was use condoms
