a nurse asked me while i was in the hospital in labor, what the difference between labor contractions and braxton hicks were. (she knows from school, but she has no children and doesnt know personally) my answer was that braxton hicks is like pressure, or flexing your muscles, which can hurt but usually not too bad. but labor contractions are like having your worst period cramps ever, on top of food poisoning cramps and lower back ache. its sounds totally awful, and it sucks, but it really is worth it the second they put the baby on your chest. i just had my little man two days ago.

@kaidensmommy everything is going great only problem is that he has jaundice which is nbd anyway.

My braxton hicks are like shocks on my vuhjay .. kinda hurts for a bit
