Has anyone been tested for strep yet! I went to my 34 week appt today and he did a culture with the cotton swab thing. and it was the most painful shit I ever felt. I screamed! when I went to pee after it burned like hell and there was bleeding. A few minutes ago I went to pee again and it still hurts and there is still bleeding. I called doctor and apparently it's normal because of the exam but damn this hurts every time I go pee now I'm gonna get scared of the pain. anybody else experience this at all?

I don't get checked till 36 weeks but everytime I've gotten checked never had bleeding some discomfort while peeing but not a pain where I'm scared to pee.

there's pain when I pee and reddish pink spotting on the tissue when I wipe @january10th

i don't think it's supposed to be that uncomfortable, i had that done yesterday and i barely even felt it. Maybe your doctor was too rough on you ?

Yes that's usually what happens when something hurts....it burned and it was just painful like had me teary eyed. I literally screamed and wanted to fucking cry @january10th

I don't think anyone understand what I felt. @january10th I was calm until I felt pain. it hurt so bad how was I supposed to stay calm and not tense up honestly?

I have had plenty of swabs done before and I never felt the pain I felt today
