did it hurt when you got the epidural? and what did you feel when baby was coming out???

I got meds in my iv that made me loopy as hell so when I got the epidural it only hurt a little bit but definitely worth it. My entire pregnancy I said I wouldn't get the epidural but it honestly saved my life & when it came to giving birth it didn't hurt at all.

it pinched when they numbed it for me, then it was a funny pressure and what can only be described as a zing in my leg. its really not that bad. so many people make it out to be super scary. and it made me a little nervouse but i was ready for it.

I agree with @kaylhunt2 the shot to numb the back was a pinch but after that it was a breeze my fiance looked more scared then I did I had to let him know that it actually didn't hurt at all and told him to quit holding my hand so tight haha it also helped me dilate a lot faster I went from a 7 - 10 in less then an hour

I got the same meds as @melissa_182 they made me super loopy so when they came to give me the epi I wasn't even scared I didn't really care what was going on around me lol. It didn't hurt at all it was a tiny burning but Thts it nothing like ppl make it out to be. I'm so happy I got it, it was almost instant relief.
