anyone get Braxton hicks after having sex? my bf and I did last night and I had contractions for about an hour after, just a little achy in my lower back no real pain. I was just wondering if this happens to anyone else.

next time you do it have him pull out and see if the BH are as bad. I'll still have a hard tummy and maybe one or two BH but its much better than the ones I get when my bf doesn't pull out

Semen softens your cervix and can sometimes cause you to have BH. I'm not sure exactly how it works but I had to go to the ER and get put on pelvic rest because the semen on my cervix was causing me to go into preterm labor at 29w. Its just what my doc told me, I'm not sure how it all works lol

I'm only having my bf pull out until I hit 37w and then he can do what he wants cause 37w is full term so it wouldn't hurt the baby to come that early if my body decided it was time.
