because pitocin stresses the baby out. doctors make labor seem like running a marathon. trying to make you hurry up and have ur baby. the body will have the baby when it is ready...@montanamommyof2, there are higher chances of c section for ppl who have pitocin then those who don't
At the point if where i got it, i had been in labor for 24 hours.. And i wasnt progressing anymore, i was only a 4... Some pregnancies are different as well as labors. But you shouldnt rule it completely out if you are in the same position :)
did they use that gel/capsule thing for you to try and make you dilate more? Yea I'll keep it in my mind but that is my absolute last option. @montanamommyof2
pitocin frickwn hurts lol they had to give it to me when i was in labor with my son cus when i got to a 5 i stayed there for hours and they had the nerve to say i would have to get sent home. dilated to a 5? uhm no so i took it and omfgggg it made the contractions so much worse (but then again im allergic to epidural so i feel everything)

I had pitocin, i was not progressing like i needed.
The only other option is to walk, or go through a c-section. Why would you flip out?

Yeah they did and I walked all night ... I was one tired momma after lol..

I never got it. When I came in I was dilated to 5 and it went by quickly..
