Looking into getting matthew child support from his father. If I go through a lawyer can I ask that he pays all my court fees and the retainer fee?? I want sole custody and him just get visitation rights. He wants matthew to have his last name but if he's not going to be involved or a convient father i do not want Matty to have his fathers name.

you can ask for it to be in your custody papers he pay all attorney fees plus filing and court fees but if you go for child support he will have visitation set up and that will mean he will have his last name. unless he signs his rights over. good luck girl.

he does not have to have his last name my son father pays child support and still has his rights but my son has my hubby's last name
