Okay ladies I have some information for you guys... When they tell you the weight of your baby during an ultrasound it is an ESTIMATION! As in there is a possibility of being off by 2-3 pounds! So just beware of that... A woman in my midwife clinic was told she was having a 9-10 pound baby and he came out at 7lb 9oz... My midwife made that very clear from the beginning and she has been delivering babies for almost 18 years.

With my daughter i never was told how much she could possibly weigh. She came out at 5lbs 11 oz and 21 inches lol

Wow just a wee little girl!! I haven't ever been told how much my son weighs so I was surprised to see so many people talking about the weight of their babies before they even come out! My midwife when I asked told me that if I was ever told at an ultrasound what weight he is that I should just ignore it but it's very likely that it is off!! @montanamommyof2
