Did you feel it? I think my best bet would be getting one, especially since it's my first.. but, I'm scared it'll hurt.. the thought of a needle going into my spine isn't exactly peaceful.. /:
I did too! I didn't feel anything. Just a little pinch but it saved my life! I couldn't have done it without it. HAhaha. My advice is absolutely do not you tube it or google it. It's scary to look at but it doesn't hurt!

After the epidural, do you feel pain from the baby coming out? Or are you really completely numb from the shoulder down? My pain tolerance is a bit low... I had to get stitches once, and the doctor had to give Me 3 dozes of the numbing stuff before I couldn't feel the needle and stitch going through my skin..

I was numb from the waist down and I didn't feel a thing! Which I feel made the experience way better! I didn't get to walk for 24 hours but that was because of the magnesium not the epidural (: I was sore but no major pain!
My sister told me that when I go in, even if I'm not in that much pain scream like I am so they'll load me up on morphine before they give me the epidural.. I have a feeling doctors can determine real pain from false pain. :P
I am yhe biggest whip when it comes to needles I hate them that and blood but i got the epidural twice and definitely plan on getting it again.. I honestly didny even feel it go in.. @babygirl10-11 was right.. By the time your able to get the epidural your contractions are already so strong the needle is the LAST thing on your mind! I say relax dont stress too much over it!!
