so my two wisdom teeth on my kept side are impacted and infected.. my face is swollen and Hurts so bad. I'm goin to go in for some oral surgery and all i get is novacaine.. which really doesn't work on me.. I'm so scared doing this with no pain medication.. and having to take antibiotics while pregnant is not what I wanted :(

Most doctors will still prescribe pain meds to take as needed after having teeth pulled, because it can be very painful and ask that pain isn't good for the baby either. I've had to get several really bad teeth pulled during my pregnancy and my OB face me a note to give them saying I could have vicodin for pain. And my little Matthew is doing perfectly fine. As long as you don't take it too often.

But it also might depend how far along you are. I was just around the end of my first trimester.
