nobody warned me that breastfeeding would hurt so damn bad :( once he is latched and going for a while it doesn't hurt as much.. but that first latch of the feeding and those first few sucks hurt like a bitch! & the pain of hard, heavy, rock solid, throbbing boobs... omg. going on our 6th day.. hoping the pain starts going away..

That's how it is for me too! Even though I'm pumping it still hurts like crazy and I'm going on 4 weeks :/ I suggest nipple cream if you don't already have it.

That's funny cause every time I used to breastfeed I always complained it hurt, people would say I was crazy, thank you for confirming that I AM NOT 😗. I hope it gets better for you ladies and pray for me that it works out when it's my turn 😊

@tylynnpeterson, I have been using nipple cream too but still hurts.. :( but nothing compares to the pain I went thru delivering him.. and I keep telling myself that when I am feeding him.. I got a pump yesterday and am going to test it out today.. hoping it relieves some of the pressure in my boobies from all this milk supply.. my mom said it is going to continue to hurt for a while.. I just really want some of the tenderness to go away.

@mrssabby, yes you are not alone! lol it is definitely a painful thing.. maybe not for some women.. and lucky them! :/ I would do anything to have it not hurt because I love breastfeeding my son. it is the very best thing for him and that is the reason I continue to stick with it. I'm tough. gotta be strong for your baybays. (:
