Ultrasound scheduled for next week to check baby's size because I'm gaining too much weight 😂…

Awe lucky I don't get another one even though I haven't gained at all i lost and am still losing at 33 weeks

If you don't mind me asking, is it because you've gained too much weight or is it because your uterus is growing too quickly. I've gained 40 some odd pounds in my midwives have expressed concern about the weight gain. but they've yet to say anything about an extra ultrasound.

my doctor likes to be very thorough and make sure everything is going well, he has a very low c section rate so I think that's why he wants to check her size, so that if she is big he can keep an eye on it and do whatever we can to have a vaginal delivery. I'm sure your baby is just fine even though you're not gaining, baby makes sure to get all the nutrients it needs. I'm 32 weeks tomorrow and already gained 51lbs lol. @sophmom

my uterus is only measuring 1 week ahead and that was this week, before today it has always been right on track. it's because of my weight. I'll be 32 weeks tomorrow and I've gained 51lbs already lol. the women in my family have all gained 50+lbs in their pregnancies so I'm not too worried about it. also my boyfriend was almost 9lbs at birth and I was 6lbs6oz 4 weeks early so that was kinda big. my doctor likes to be on the safe side that's why he's doing an ultrasound, and so if she is big he can keep an eye on it and induce me early if needed so I have the best possible chance at having a vaginal delivery. @denielle1224

yeah, everyone is different! if you weren't eating your baby wouldn't be growing lol. some doctors just don't understand. @sophmom
