I've never knew my dad for only reasons he could explain to me today. I was adopted into this beautiful family that I love so much. they have given me so much to live for. my adopted dad wasn't much in my life either after my brother past away at a very young age. but seeing my mother play both roles as mom and dad, she did everything for me and my siblings. I have half siblings around but never knew them. as I get older I see some women without their other half, alone with a child that they take care of. playing both roles. I never wanted that for myself and I'm pretty sure neither did they. its sad and no reason for a "boy" to run off, were all scared but being a man is when you stay and watch your child grow, not running off and not seeing your child. everyone has their reason to not grow up. my father is now in my life to make up for when he couldn't be. his only child is having his first grandson. he's excited and can't wait. I still haven't met him. one day I will and so will my son. but for you lady's who don't have your other half with you. someone will come along and love and treat your child just as if it was their own. I wouldn't give up on love and having a father figure in their life. much love to you all.
