I'm 19 years old and 8 weeks along and so nervous to tell my mom! Any advice for a young mom?🙏

The sooner the better. She may be disappointed and acknowledge that. But ask for her support anyway. Make sure you tell her your plan. Like if your still planning on going to school etc. It's not going to be a easy talk. But it needs to be done. good luck. :)

I was 19 when I found out I was pregnant but I already lived on my own they took it as a shock but she was very supportive and took it better then I thought it would be

I was 18 when I found out I was pregnant and turned 19 in august. I found out when I was 8 weeks. I took two at home tests and they were both positive. my bf and I waited like a week to tell my parents. they had mixed feelings at first but now they are super excited to see my baby girl. it's their first grandbaby. if you are pretty close with your parents you should have your mom go to your doc apointments with you. my mom loves going with me and hearing her heartbeat. she's been here for me every step of the way. now i am 38 weeks 3 days. good luck to you :)

@chari_pie, well I'm 29 when I found out I was pregnant so I wasn't very young. But I know they wanted me to be married etc. I'm not married been with my boyfriend for 5 years and it just happened. So I just felt they would be disappointed for some reason. I cried when I tried telling them I couldn't even spit it out lol. My parents were like whattttt! your pregnant? I just nodded. They were happy to say the least. I think I was just doubting myself which made me worried what everyone else thought. But I was scared shitless.

I was 18 I told my mom the day I found out I just asked her if she wanted my birth control pills lol but my mom was a very young mom herself so I knew she would understand .... she was not mad at all she was actually happy

besides I knew she couldn't be to mad cuz my sister had her baby at 16

I live with my boyfriend in a whole other state. My mother is idaho and I'm in California. I was gonna skype call her. But I'm too freaked out so I might just call her on her phone. Thank you guys so much!
