Ugh not pregnancy related but I need to vent.... college is so frustrating so expensive smh idk I…

yeah I unfortunately had to put school on hold. i was in school in another part of NY when I found out I was pregnant (me and bf had an apartment out there) and our families wanted us to come back home because they didnt want me so.far away while pregnant. i was a little upset that I had to just up & leave but it was for the best I guess. now im gonna have to do online.classes from home because going back out of town with a baby will.be too hard.

I know exactly how you feel. I just want to be a stay at home mom until I feel ready enough to work..

I'm the same way. I was in school for 3 years. but had to put it on hold cause I couldn't get financial aid again. plus I found out I was pregnant so now I know I need to go back to give my daughter the life I didn't have

do they have online classes? I know it's hard but you will get through it!

so you ladies think I should take more then a semester off? I'm taking spring semester off when I have her idk I just need to find something I can get done and get a good job that I enjoy @firstbaby.girl @kateferrera @waitingonnoah20

@firefly, they do have online bit I've pretty much taken all the classes you can take online. the test have labs and stuff I have to be in class for. I am going for radiologic technician so lots of studying needs to be done and I'm just not a study type of person I try to make myself but really doesn't seem to make a difference.

you do what you have to for you and your baby. go back when you're ready. @mdomke22

if taking only one semester off works for you then you should definitely stick to that, but if you know its gonna be almost impossible juggling school and a newborn I wouldnt put myself in the situation of stress. it only makes finishing harder, did you consider online classes? or would you rather be in an actual classroom setting?

Take as much time off as you need and do it when you're mentally and physically ready. The end of your pregnancy you're not going to have the energy to do much. Plus as soon as she comes all your going to want to do is be home with her, and I don't blame you for that! They only stay little for a little bit! You have your whole life to do what you need to do! & that's the way I look at it. I have my whole life for school and work, I want to be home with my baby boy and just stay at home with him until I feel ready to be away from him to do what I need to do, But for now, my only concern is being a mommy :)

@waitingonnoah20, I do betterin class settings to be honest. plus there really isn't anymore online classes I can take most my classes have a lab as well with lecture so it's alot. plus clinicals at the end of the program most likely won't allow me to work because of how's many hrs I will need to put in in order to graduate.

oh yeah that would definitely be too much. I would take off a semester or two then. Im going for office management so its pretty easy for me to just do online classes. but if i couldnt I would take 2 semesters off max, just because the longer you wait to go back the more comfortable you get with not going back, you know?

yes exactly! @waitingonnoah20 I know that will be me of I wait too long I busy won't wanna go back. but yea I'm actually considering changing my degree even tho is make good money in this but to be realistic with myself I might do something easier that has more online classes lol just one of those things that I wish I had a husband who made lots of money and I could work where I'm at now until she is older.. but hey wishful thinking won't get me anywhere lol

lol yeah a wealthy husband sounds perfect! but yeah even if you have to make a switch in careers its better than giving up. you should look into it :)
