to the mommies who have been induced: how nervous were you when you got your induction date? What did yall do for your last meal before going in to have your little ones? did your doctor do a membrane sweep before they started induction medication? Which medication did they give yall? I know pitocin is the most common but I've heard of others. omg I have so many questions and only have 5 days left and I am freaking out!

i never had an induction date..with my daughter i had just went in because i was passing my due date & come to find out i was way past it so they induced me that day,no membrane sweep just pitocin which was horrible but i dont wanna put a bad bug in your ear you'll be fine once you have the baby the pain no longer matters..good luck

@tattedmommyyyy, I'm so nervous! my doctor said something about doing the sweep before they start medication to see if that will kick start labor. but omg I'm so nervous!!!

I got induced with my older daughter .. no sweep no meds just straight pitocin it was easy took about 2 hrs to fully start off contractions labor lasted 16 hrs and 6 mins of pushing ....sounds long but my 1st baby lasted the same length ... it was easy for me but everyone is different

I've had an induction before with my son....no membrane sweep. My son had stopped growing at like 34wks so when I went to a specialist they said it was better for him to be delivered at that time I was 37 wks. They gave me pitocin and Stadel (I don't know how to spell it) but that was to take the edge of 5he contractions. The doctor broke my water after an 1 hour of me being in the hospital I had my sob about 4 hours later. I progessed pretty quickly @acjones186
