they aren't really supposed to be painful. mine feel like menstrual cramps kind of.

yeah mine did too, but the Braxton hicks arent as bad as my menstrual ones. and you shouldn't everyone is different. theyre just really uncomfortable for me especially when im laying down.

My doctor told me to time them if they have a regular pattern and are steady then it's real contractions but if they're random and no pattern it's Braxton hicks. just thought I'd share :-)
