What are some questions I should ask my doctor about gestational diabetes? I'm so new to this and…

@j I would ask what type you have also of you need the pill our the insulin shot. having it is commonnothing to write about to much just take the need that you need. it's only during pregnancy and goes away after the baby its born.

I already know so far that I don't need either... we're going to try a diet first and see if that will help. If not then we talk medicine. @februarybaby

I have gestational diabetes...you really have to watch your carbs...I'm only allowed 45-60 carbs a meal. I check my sugar 4 times daily, I'm on Metformin which is a diabetic pill and I'm also on insulin...it really sucks :/ but it's all over once you deliver! French fries and potatoes are actually worse than a candy bar!

I check mine 4 times a day too but no medicine or insulin yet. My doctor wants to see if a diet will work before we try anything else. I see a nutritionist Thursday then my doctor Friday. I hope I don't need medicine or insulin. I'm already super stressed about it.
