I spotted for a good 8 weeks or so but it was just pink.

Did they give you a diagnosis at any visits? Or your ob at a follow up visit? I would personally go get checked especially if it's red blood. It sounds (since the baby is checking out ok when you do go in) like you have a subchorionic hematoma.
