Getting asked if I'm going to breastfeed and with my answer always being yes, they then proceed to ask if I'll do it in public. Not that its any of their business, but no I will not be breastfeeding in public for many reasons. Its a beautiful thing to be able to feed your child and give them all of the nutrients they need and I'm so happy to be doing that, however I find it uncomfortable to do something I consider personal and private in a public setting. And yes I am aware they make covers, but they also make breast pumps as well. I just don't find it fitting to be doing that out in public, I'd be more comfortable feeding my child where I am relaxed in my home then out at dinner or at the mall. Plus with the possibility of offending someone and making a big fuss over something as that doesn't seem worth it to me when I can easily pump and have a bottle on hand.
